I am not a fan of Tekken but I used to play it on PlayStation when I was a kid until the time that I got headache playing it. It was one of my all time favorite video games aside from Street fighter (I've watched months ago Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li. Kristine Kreuk. xD) and Soul Blade (ooh.. The Best).
I was disappointed coz I thought I'd be able to see Hwoarang (Favorite Character <3) live in action and witness his adorable face and moves but then at least there's Jin (played by Jon Foo) and he was hot. :P
I love how Christie (played by Kelly Overton) did the accusing stare to the amateur People's Choice Jin. You know in that first look who's gonna be his love interest.
Christie: Who are you anyway?
Jin: My name is Jin.
Christie: So you are the people's choice?
Jin: You seem surprised.
Christie: You don't look like much.
Jin: You, remember you said that when I win Iron Fist.
That was my favorite scene. I can't remember much the moves of the certain characters that was in the movie but in my point of view the action scenes weren't that bad.Christie: Right.
"Staring at my ass is a good way to get yours kicked" Christie to Jin. So win. |
And with the battle scenes, it was Raven vs Eddie. Ohh I love the crazy dancing moves of Eddie in the game though it was not really copied in the movie. Not so bad though.
Eddie Gordo (his style was missing) |
After that was Jin vs Miguel. Surely my boy won. And look at that stare. Sexy. Haha .
And the next fight was just a dream. Imagine girls like them fighting like cats in the ring. lol It's madness. How about Paris Hilton versus Lindsay Lohan inside the jail. Mhmm..
Christie Monteiro cat fight with Nina Williams |
Within their fight Christie confronted Nina along with her twin about their attempted assassination for Jin, Anna. Nina told Christie, "I like your boyfriend, he's cute". Then boom the usual girls instinct (I guess for me that's the way I think, sort of). After her finish:
"Sorry, I don't share" |
The next scenes were a little bit bloody when Kazuya found out that Jin was his son which means he is no loner the only heir of Tekken Corporation. Heihachi was over throned by Kazuya and soon he announced that Tekken is now a battle for death. I didn't pertain so much in those parts since I'm not a fan of bloody gross part. All I know was that Jin beat Kazuya with honor and told him that the curse of Mishima is not his but only him. Funny that the protagonist doesn't not win because he is damn good. Just a matter of luck and with the help of friends, the usual.
Ouch, Kazuya. And that's how he became the People's Champion. (Manny Pacquiao is that you?) |
So far, in terms of action, Tekken was way better than Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li (though Kristine Kreuk did a good job with her stunts. Its the story that failed). We can still hope though for Street Fighter Legacy where Jon foo will play as Ryu. So much to anticipate.
